3 days to Valentine’s Day – Order Flowers!
Do you remember the first time you gave – or received – a bouquet of roses from the love of your life? Sending roses is a true classic and a wonderfully traditional way to show your love.
How did roses become so popular? Our love affair with them began in the Roman era, where they were used for every occasion, from scenting baths and perfumes to scattering their petals to add extravagance to celebrations. Over time, they became gifts to express love and dedication, and different colours and even numbers of roses came to hold special symbolism to us.
For instance, giving a single rose is an elegant and simple way of saying “I love you”, but the gift of a dozen means “I adore you and I think of you for all 12 months of the year.”. The red rose is of course the iconic choice – but have you considered mixing red and white together? This expresses the perfect unity and harmony of your lives together. How great is that for Valentine’s Day?
