   This is one of those ‘use sparingly’ items though. Done poorly, it is rather annoying and can decrease views. CNN.com does it well with their animated ads that have sound turned off be default. By contrast, NLL.com (National Lacrosse League) has videos with sound cranked on the main page.

   I totally agree with you Adam! I prefer to be able to opt-in, and think this would be a great voice-mail option too!
