Anthony Robbins interviews Chet Holmes (Feb. 25, 2009)
Although I can’t take advantage of Tony’s client-only offer, I hope you can…
Anthony Robbins
4 WAYS TO DOUBLE REVENUESIf you own a business or you’re a top producing sales expert, I want to make sure you have an opportunity to attend this once-only teleconference I’m conducting for my subscribers as my treat.
Everyone knows what’s going on in the economy right now - during this period in history some people are frozen and living in fear while others are getting stronger and innovative to take advantage of new opportunities.
I’ve recruited best-selling author, Chet Holmes to help you learn “four ways to double your revenues in 12 months” - I’m going to be interviewing Chet personally - asking him to share his unique insights on how my most valued clients can thrive and not just survive in these economic times.
Chet has proprietary methods of increasing sales that can make you bullet-proof against the current downturn. He teaches a concept where you can actually increase your ability to get in front of buyers by as much as 16,000% (that’s his record so far) without spending a penny more than you’re already spending.
You will learn how to get more clients faster and easier and get them into your sales cycle before they even consider buying - building market share like never before. Once your clients are in your sales cycle, we’ll show you how to make them so loyal to your business that your competitors can’t take them from you, even if they offer lower prices.
Another concept I asked Chet to share with you is what he calls “The Best Buyer Strategy.” This single concept has doubled the revenues of more companies than anything else he’s done. Chet teaches you how to get the dream buyers for your particular product or service. He has personally cold-called his way into getting SIXTY Fortune 500 clients, and can show you how to do the same for your business.
I hope you make the decision to join Chet Holmes and myself on this one of a kind 75-minute teleconference on Wednesday February 25 at 3:00pm-4:30 PST (4pm-5:30pm Mountain, 5pm-6:30pm Central, 6pm-7:30pm Eastern). Take the time to focus on developing your business and creating a strategy to ensure success despite the external economic conditions.Tony

Missed the initial opening though my concern relates principally to service of the true condition of all … yes increases, more information, research verses need -augh not better shows to sell fancier bottles of snake oil, I heard Chet willing to allow the deception through word placement and listener interpretaion. All around I am thinking of our predicament. Must see beyond the surface. How to reach the level of the one behind the eyes, where the need lies. To gain trust not just formulas… How to empower the little man that each may survive obtaining their own fullness of life.

Chet is definitely hard core sales, a style I’ve never been too comfortable with. Me I prefer to build relationships, and when they’re ready to buy, educating them about their choices and helping them achieve their goals.
On the other hand though, I love Anthony Robbins and have learned so much from him over the years! How did he react to Chet’s ‘wisdom’ I wonder?
Thanks for sharing Nancy. I hope you received one gem to make it worth your while?

First, the program was riddled with technical difficulties, and you frequently couldn’t hear what Chet was saying. Tony Robbins and Chet talked back and forth about several times, and to the operator. They said that 10,000 people had called in, more than the 2,000 that were expected. Was this true? I saw no reason to call in and listened on the internet. They are trying to sell a program that they claim is limited – you will have to apply, and they will have a VP/business development call you back if you are of interest, and are one of the ones they select to attend the seminar. They said they wanted a representative sample, rather than have everyone come from the chemical industry, for example. This seems thinly disguised. The seminar will not be small – I bet they have 2000 people there, and this is just a ploy to get someone to call you back and try to sell you on an expensive seminar. That’s my guess.
This was the first time I’d heard of Chet Holmes. Maybe my head is in the sand. He’s a powerful speaker, and his education based marketing concept may be of merit. With this, you call the customer and tell them that you’d like to essentially give them a seminar on something of interest to them in their industry that your research department has developed. If you’re a newspaper trying to sell advertising, you call up beauty salons, and tell them you’d like to come over and present to them the 7 reasons beauty shops fail and the 5 reasons beauty salons are successful. Perhaps only one of these is directly related to advertising. But he says this increases the appointment getting level significantly. I’ve had so much trouble getting appointments lately that I may try something like this; I have two fears, however. First, it may be easy to come up with a list of reasons a beauty shop fails that they don’t already know – they’re small, and unsophisticated businesspeople. But coming up with something a sophisticated large business doesn’t already know about his business is much harder. Chet says you can find most of this information on the internet. Second, I think we’ve all heard that approach before, and had someone try it on us – I wouldn’t believe it if someone called me up to give me a free seminar. I’d figure it was a thinly-disguised sales pitch.
Chet also talks about bombarding the customer. He said that he develops a major target customer list, and concentrates on those (that is nothing new – I learned to do that in my first few months of work 25 years ago). He bugs the hell out of them, and says that is successful. He says they call them 8 times a month until they break down and see him. I have always hated that approach, for two reasons. Ugh – it’s really hard on the self and the ego to be told no over and over again by the same place. Second, I hate it when someone does that to me, and won’t do business with someone who pesters me like that. However, Chet claims that he has cold-called his way into every major customer he’s gotten by doing that.
I’m skeptical, but also found the concepts and his claim of results to be interesting. I wish I could have heard the whole thing. There were a lot of things I couldn’t hear because of the technical difficulties.
I’d also like to hear of someone who has used this method, and hear what they have to say about its success, rather than simply listen to Chet talking about what he has done. Has anyone used this method?

Just received an (unsolicited) email from Chet Holmes that says volumes about his confidence level, and perhaps should’ve been edited (by a professional) before sending. I’m guessing it was supposed to be a letter from Tony?
Given the feedback about technical difficulties, I’m surprised they chose to replay and not sure it’s worth my time. Any positive views about this Anthony Robbins/Chet Holmes interview?

Chet Holmes may be amazing at sales, but not sure I like how he treated Tony Robbins. Good thing he’s got techniques and systems… selling on personality is definitely out from where I sit!

I listened to this link from Tony and Chet about their Summit together. I’m sincerely intrigued. I’ve gone to many of Tony’s events and I personally have had life-changing moments from his seminars. I’ve dropped 21 pounds and have been pursuing my passions now for 5 years and now own my own business and work from home. Seriously. I’ve gotten so much out of learning from Tony and his tapes that I can’t imagine what my life would have been had I not had these “a-ha” moments to change my ways. So, then I heard he was working with Chet Holmes to which I know to be a tough sales guy, and I was skeptical too. But, I’ve done my research (as I always do) and have found that Chet’s influence on building strategies that combine “best quality practices” along with what I’ve experienced as excellent customer service from his company and their precision to detail on anything I’ve asked them to do, my tone has changed. I’m actually very pleased that these two have paired up to work together for this event. I have a friend attending who owns her own business too and I’m excited to learn from her what she learns from this Summit.

Glad to hear you were able to listen in Diane, and feel the same way as you about Tony Robbins. Hope the summit goes well.
