Please come out and support our efforts to Save Camp X through a fundraising car wash.
As you may be aware, the artifacts collected to commemorate the men and women of Camp X are being sold to the highest bidder by a family member claiming the collection. PLEASE HELP KEEP OUR LEGACY AT HOME!
We will be donating 100% of our proceeds from the car wash, and any donations that we receive directly to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 637 in an effort to raise money to Help Save Camp X.
Special thanks to Speedy Muffler, Brake & Wheel for donating their facility and utilities to enable us to help achieve our goal of Saving Camp X.

It has always been possible, of course, for employers to look at what their workers are posting on social media. Automating the process makes it more likely that monitoring will become commonplace, say both those who approve and those who disapprove.

Nothing in the world will take the place of persistence: Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education alone will not, for the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are all powerful. Without perseverance, living is merely housekeeping.
~Calvin Coolidge
Google keeps adding functionality to Google Analytics. I have a few goals set up, including visits to my speaking page; time spent on the site, etc. Way better than the traditional traffic reporting tools that typically come free with hosting.
I discovered a yummy coffee last summer and started feeling better that I have in years. After drinking it for only a few weeks, I started sleeping soundly through the night (rather than waking up 4-5 times per night), I have tons more energy and am amazed by all the testimonial letters that keep flowing in.
In China Ganoderma Lucidum is known as the “Miraculous King of Herbs”. It has been used as a medicinal mushroom in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 4,000 years, and is known around the world to help with the following:
- Oxygenates the body and boosts stamina
- Provides more energy and vigor
- Increases brain power
- Supports quality of sleep
- Supports circulation
- Supports the immune system
- Natural body detoxification
If you’re having problems sleeping, or suffer from health conditions traditional medicines are not working for, why not try some OrGano Gold coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Each cup contain 100% Certified Organic Ganoderma Lucidin and most people feel a difference after only drinking a box or two.
Although I generally embrace Nike’s philosophy and ”Just Do It” as a rule, I made an exception this year and made the following resolutions:
- SPIRTUALLY – Grow my faith daily.
- PERSONALLY – Take time every day for the most important people in my life.
- PHYSICALLY – Work with Joanna Gawluk to whip this body into shape.
- EMOTIONALLY – Organize / Systemize / Focus / Balance
- ECONOMICALLY – Grow our assets, increase our income, thrive and transition in this new economy.
Now to write an effective goal statement and create a system to track my success and keep me on track.
What are YOU going to do differently in 2010? Let’s work together! Write your resolutions below (click on comments) and I’ll follow up with you once per month to see how you’re doing and if I can, I’d love to help!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
WOW – I cannot believe this has gone through so easily and with so little uproar from society who is already dealing with a crippling recession. They say it makes it easier for businesses, but I just can’t see it. Besides the fact that many things we buy will cost more money, we’ll need to pay people to change adjust our bookkeeping system, documents, POS systems. Easy? I think not, at least from this business person’s perspective.
If you appreciate the awesome fall colours, keep an eye on www.parkreports.com/fall which has a map that shows where colours are reaching their peak across the province. Information is updated twice a week, and if you click on the map you’ll be given lots of ideas for autumn adventures.
What’s your favourite place to see the colours?
I think mine is Eagle’s Nest in Bancroft (see picture inset) however Muskoka and Algonquin are close seconds.
Would love to see your favourite fall colour pictures!
Are you a shutterbug with closet photos of the fall colours? Please share with us your pictures by adding a link in the comments below.
