What is the Creative Economy? Basically it is the new innovation, knowledge based economy which is driven by people who are paid to think, innovate and create. Unlike the old industrial economy which thrived on infrastructure, low taxes, an abundant, specialized or cheap supply of labour, the creative economy flourishes in environments based on Quality of Place. Places that are unique, vibrant and interesting have the new competitive advantages to economic growth.
