Do you think 12-16 weeks to get a replacement phone is too long?
Although I am sure my phone has been defective since I bought it, I sure do miss my new ‘smart phone’ – a Samsung Galaxy S. It has great video but is sluggish at times and slower over all than the iPhone. Until reading similar complaints, I put this down to OS (operating system).
After three support calls with Telus, Samsung and Social Hub) I found out that another trip to Telus was in order, and that 12-16 weeks would be required to fix/return the phone to me. That I could ask for a replacement, but there may be a charge. Hmmm.
I just went down to Telus and they too told me not to call on the phone, that it may take 12 to 16 weeks to get my phone system back and that although they’d be happy to give me a loaner, they could not give me my model and there would be a charge. I chose door number two — them hooking up an old blackberry (N/C) that we supplied. Thanks Telus and Samsung! This customer who babied your phone sure does feel loved right about now.
