This flash website demonstrates many of the key elements of an effective website. The content is clearly displayed, is attractively designed and arranged to engage the visitor. The hook (newsletter signup) is prominently displayed at the bottom of the page, and fan club promises a constant flow of more (web glue).
I liked being greeted with the soothing sounds of surf and gentle strumming of his guitar, and ability to easily listen to his other music, but would’ve been nice to have mute feature so I could surf in silence.
This website features many revenue streams for Kenney; advertising for Corona, Gibson Pure, fan club, and of course the store with a cool variety of items for fans, so my guess would be that this marketing piece is far more than a pretty brochure, but rather a robust revenue generator in it’s own right.
My only criticism would be the few flow hickups with his new radio show and fan club, which is common with expensive-to-upgrade all-flash websites.
