Are you still paying for TV or do you use a loaded Android box?

Canadian Internet Law

Are you still paying for tv or using a loaded android box?

One of the questions I get asked most frequently these days is… Are loaded Android boxes legal, and I’m pleased to share what Canadian internet law expert Michael Geist says which is…

“Loaded android boxes falls a little bit into that grey area,”

You see Canada’s Copyright Act prohibits unauthorized downloading of copyrighted content, but viewers using a loaded Android box are not downloading material but rather they are streaming the content which the law does not yet recognize.

Not sure how long it will be before the cable companies figure out a way around this loophole, however in th emean time, my husband and I are enjoying free tv and loving that we don’t even have to watch one commercial.

If you’re interested in more information about the loaded android boxes, although AWEBthatWORKS does not sell them directly, if you’d like to email us your contact information, I’ll put you in touch with our supplier who is quite knowledgeable about the various boxes available, and can answer all your questions.
