In the wake of Facebook making changes that hurt business, LinkedIn announces impending improvements to group functionality aimed at making LinkedIn groups work better for business. You’ll soon be able to:
- Access Groups from the homepage
- See Groups content in notifications and the homepage feed
- Post videos into your groups, @mention the members you want to weigh-in, and keep the conversation going by replying to comments
All changes that will be very welcome to this LinkedIn user and abuser.
ATTENTION IOS USERS
LinkedIn also announced that they are abandoning their standalone iOS app for Groups (as at Feb.15, 2018) which is a shame, as although I don’t use iOS myself, I did demo this on my husband’s iphone and thought it was handy. Will you miss this standalone IOS app for LinkedIn groups?
