The US Department of Justice has won its antitrust case against Google, which accused the company of operating a monopoly in the advertising technology industry ruling Google “willfully engaged in anticompetitive acts” for over a decade, and monopolized three distinct markets:
- publisher ad tools
- advertiser ad networks, and
- ad exchanges
This is the second antitrust case Google has lost in a year, after it was ruled the company also had a monopoly on online search.
Will US force Google to sever chrome?
