Jean was a wonderful lady! So thankful I got to see her last summer. And that she left behind a souvenir for me to remember her by. Sue please know that you, Heather and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m sure Jean doesnt want any of you to be sad but to remember the fun and happy times spent with her.

I only had the opportunity to meet Jean several times in person. I really got to know her, during Covid through my calls with Sue. It is funny how we come to know people and the impact they have on us.
Jean’s love for Curtis was the kind of relationship we should all strive for. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are a real tribute to a remarkable woman. These are the indelible footprints left with us.

Jean was outspoken, caring, adventurous, and believed in giving back to the community. During a time when she was most vulnerable, I remember overhearing her give instructions to Sue to purchase gifts for the hospital staff as an acknowledgment for their kindness. Aside from our three-way calls, I know how much she was looking forward to her trip to the east coast with Sue. It is a good lesson that we should always do what inspires us and when it inspires us, or we may lose the opportunity. I am so happy she was able to take the trip before she took ill.

Although Jean will be missed, there is solace knowing she is with her lifelong love, Curtis.

Your Mom was an amazing person who was smart and capable, with a great sense of humour. She was a very committed spouse and mother. too.
